Yesterday we celebrated the graduation of 19 pupils of the Aletta Haniel Programme here at the Franz-Haniel-Platz.
Each year up to 25 pupils get the possibility to take part in the programme of Haniel Foundation, Aletta Haniel Comprehensive School and the Municipal Integration Centre Duisburg. Main goal of the three-year-programme is to support pupils having difficulties at school. The participants learn more about their strengths, train applications and get help in studying for school. 32% of the participants start a training directly after school and 68 % aim to do their university-entrance diploma. Congratulation! The programme is funded by an external donation of Peter Groos. Thank you! You can find more information here.
