Scholarships

In our globally networked world of work, intercultural competencies are in demand. Therefore, the Haniel Foundation supports young people with scholarships for studying and internships abroad. It runs five scholarship programmes of its own and also supports the McCloy Academic Scholarship Program.

Particularly gifted pupils from Germany and eight central and eastern European countries look beyond their national boundaries with support from the Haniel Foundation. Approximately 130 youngsters are invited to participate in the Multinational Pupils’ Academies of the Bildung und Begabung GmbH association each year. They come to Bavaria or Saxony-Anhalt in their summer holidays where they look forward to an inspiring course and leisure programme.

Über den nationalen Tellerrand hinaus blicken mit Unterstützung der Haniel Stiftung auch besonders begabte Schüler aus Deutschland und acht mittelosteuropäischen Ländern. Jährlich werden rund 130 Jugendliche eingeladen, an den Multinationalen SchülerAkademien der gemeinnützigen Bildung & Begabung GmbH teilzunehmen. Sie kommen in den Sommerferien nach Bayern oder Sachsen-Anhalt, wo sie ein anregendes Kurs- und Freizeitprogramm erwartet.
